Golf Ball Lottery

The winner of the Titleist Golf Ball Lottery for March, and 15 Titleist Pro V 1’s better off is Derek Kallmeier. Congratulations Derek!

The draw for April, which will take place on Saturday 28th is up and running. Pop into the shop and give yourself a chance of winning for just £1.

Demo Days

The Mizuno demo day that took place last month was a good success, especially given how early it was in the season and the terrible weather we have been having. The first set of custom fitted irons from the day arrived this week. Thanks for your time and business Gerry; hopefully the new irons can help you achieve your goal of getting your handicap lower than Dave Haylett.

Date for the Diary - Srixon/Cleveland Demo Day with personal custom fitting appointments available - Friday 22nd June.

The times available for custom fitting appointments will be released next month. For those who just want to try the product; the whole of the Srixon and Cleveland range will be available to hit at your leisure, and as with previous demo days, I will be on hand to answer any questions.

As well as the various demo days that will be taking place throughout the year, we have demo clubs in the Pro Shop that are available for you to try from Cleveland (woods, irons and wedges), Srixon (woods and irons) and Titleist (wedges only).

New In-Store

Ladies

We have just taken delivery of the new apparel for ladies; with apparel from Glenmuir due to arrive shortly. The new Ladies shoes from Under Armour came in this week, to go along side footwear from Skechers and FootJoy.

Men

The April delivery of Under Armour apparel and accessories has just arrived in-store.

New products include sweaters, wind tops, polo shirts, shoes and belts.

It often proves very difficult to get more Under Armour product in once it has been sold, so get in quick and make sure you look the part this season.

We have more PING Collection apparel arriving in the next week or so, mainly with the club cresting, so keep an eye out for that too.

Coaching news

Girls Golf Rock

South Beds Golf Club will be hosting ‘Golf Girls Rock’ for 2018.

Golf Girls Rock consists of a golf taster session day for girls between the ages of 5 and 18, and then follow up sessions for a few weeks after that.

The taster session day will take place on Sunday 22nd April at 2pm. If you know any girls who might be interested in giving this a go, register at www.getintogolf.org or contact us in the Pro Shop.

It only comes around once a year and it’s that time again - Masters week! The first Major of the year takes place at Augusta National this week, which we always take as a sign that the season is getting underway. With this in mind, we have one question for you: are you ready to play your best golf this year?

Pushing the boundaries

If you don’t want to worry about charging your battery after every round but still want a trolley to help you around the course, this brand new push model from Motocaddy - a world's first - could be the answer.

This new Motocaddy CUBE CONNECT push trolley is perfect for any space-conscious golfers. For starters, you get a soft-touch handle, simple two-step folding system and generous storage space, including an under-handle net and accessory compartment.

Its key feature, however, is its on-screen GPS that provides front, middle and back distances to the green.
