Men's Club Championship

The men's club championship took place last weekend. On a pleasant but blustery day Luke Charnley shot a winning total of 144 (69, 75). Ben Evans finished runner up with his 74, 71 leaving him 1 shot behind. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say congratulations Luke on your second club championship title.

The Tom Baldwin Trophy, which was the other trophy available on the day, was won by Ben Evans with a combined net score of 141.


 

15 Titleist Pro V 1's for £1

The Pro Shop will be running a monthly golf ball lottery. Buy a number for £1 for the chance to win 15 Titleist Pro V 1's.

The draw will be done on the final Saturday of every month, where the winner will be the person whose number matches the bonus ball number drawn in the national lottery draw.

The team at Titleist have done a survey to find out what the 12 most requested Play # golf balls are, and they are going to put together a limited Pro V1 pack containing these numbers.

The play #'s will be 00, 11, 13, 21, 22, 23, 33, 44, 55, 66, 77, 99, and there will be 1 dozen of each in Pro V1 and Pro V1 X.

Ladies Beginners Coaching

Over the last few weeks we have been doing some ladies beginners coaching on Saturday mornings.

It has been a nice success with all those taking part getting a taste for the game and starting to get out on the golf course on a regular basis.
